Class Sizes: Big vs. Small

Post by Charlie48 on Sun Jun 16, 2013 6:52 am

Do you prefer being in a big class with lots of people or the ambience and close attention of a small one?
Why?

For me it depends on the subject. If it's classes like media then a small class is better (in my opinion) because it allows you to use the equipment more often and organise easily. For other classes though I think larger classes are better for sciences and maths etc. because you don't really need one-to-one tuition in them as much as in more hands-on subjects.

Small. full stop.

You get attention, which means you probably learn more.

I totally agree. It's far easier to learn that way, and the teachers can understand you better
