How do you like to be taught? Lots of note taking? Being lectured PowerPoint presentation style? Watching a video? Hands-on demonstrations? etc...

I prefer doing stuff to being shown stuff, which is why I'm better at subjects like Media, because I literally get given one sheet of A4 which explains our tasks, then we have to think of ideas, plan it, create it, edit it, present it etc. on our own then at the end have the products from it (video or campaign usually), and a 30-page-or-so booklet with our portfolio work.

Practical? My classmates don't like that though but I prefer that. Then discuss a little then actual exam. I don't listen to any discussions though.
