The lout was in a stolen high-powered BMW when he caused carnage on the roads through the streets of Wolverhampton.
At Wolverhampton Crown Court last week Doherty was jailed for 14 months for aggravated vehicle taking after a judge warned him he was fortunate his ‘appalling’ driving did not have had ‘catastrophic’ consequences. But today West Midlands Police decided to release the footage of his driving, showing him sprinting away from the scene and hiding in a garden.
Martin’s dad Paddy - who was convicted of headbutting his stepbrother at a funeral earlier this year - claimed his son was very sorry and claimed he could easily have died.
Paddy - who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2011 - said: ’I’m very sorry.
’What has happened should never have happened. What he did was wrong and he has got what he deserves.
